On 29 September at the premises of the IECE Institute was held the first working meeting on the project Professional Development Courses for Engineering Management and Leadership Skills.

Civil Engineering Institute Macedonia won the National Award for best social practices in the category Employee Relations . The purpose of the National Award is to promote positive practices of socially responsible action in companies.
Civil Engineering institute Macedonia and the joint stock company “Port of Bar” signed contract for major project which will include upgrading the ashore of the passenger terminal of the Bar’s dock for another 400 meters.
The reconstruction and upgrade of this section will improve the connection between Greece and Macedonia and the highway A1 will finally be completed. Project activities are reconstruction of the existing lane including the lane of the highway A1 (E75) on the left side of the subitem Smokvica-Gevgelija and straight the lane of the subitem Negorci-Gevgelija.
Civil Engineering Institute Macedonia is working on a project documentation for express road Shtip-Kochani on a line defined for a project for highway infrastructure. This road has important traffic and economic meaning in the roads’ grid of Republic of Macedonia and is connecting the east with the west of the country.

Civil Engineering Institute Macedonia signed a contract with Elektroprivreda Republika Srpska – Hydro power plants on Drina for performance of works of consolidation of the ground below the dam HPP Visegrad on the Drina River – BiH.
From 7 to 11 March in Graz, Austria, workshop was organized on development of curriculum for proffesional courses. The workshop is part of the professional development courses in engineering management and leadership skills of the EU-funded Erasmus +. Civil Engineering Institute Macedonia is one of the partners in the project.
