The services of the Asphalt, Concrete, Steel, Binders and Constructions Sector are to:

  • - Tests in the field of building chemistry
  • - Water tests for preparation of concrete
  • - Studies of soil and groundwater chemical aggression on structures
  • - Complete study of horizontal signalization paint
  • - Testing prefabricated concrete elements (concrete street curbs, concrete park curbs, concrete pipes, behaton tiles, pillars, channels, shafts)
  • - Non-destructive concrete testing in a structure with sclerometer and ultrasound
  • - Destructive concrete testing in a structure by extracting concrete cores
  • - Testing special concrete (SCC, lightweight concrete, heavy concrete, sprayed concrete, rolled concrete, hydro-technical (hydraulic) concrete, concrete for pavement structures and high-strength concrete)
  • - Complete testing of SCC ( U-box, L-box, J-ring)
  • - Complete testing of sprayed concrete (determining initial strengths with penetrometer, early strength with Hilti method, consistency of fresh sprayed concrete) as well as total determining of the type of shotcrete according to its purpose

  • - Performs complete laboratory and field testing of hardened concrete as pressure strength, tensile strength at tension, tensile strength at bending, tensile strength at shear
  • - Performs testing of the special and rheological properties of the concrete as concrete resistance to ice, concrete resistance to ice and defrosting salt, concrete water permeability, concrete wearing out, module of elasticity, resistance to slipping, concrete shrinkage   
  • - Concrete Design for all types of structures in civil engineering construction, building construction and hydro construction
  • - Program about the quality of concrete and reinforced concrete structures for all types of structures in civil engineering construction, building construction and hydro construction
  • - Prepares technology of embedding and curing of all types of concrete and concrete structures

  • - Full testing of mortar (determination of density, pressure strength, adhesion after treating with different temperatures, capillary water absorption, water penetration after water absorption, vapour permeability, open work time, water-soluble chloride content, content of induced air, consistency with penetration, consistency with a shaking chair, time for corrections)
